After spending 20+ years working a variety of jobs in the food industry, Chef Joy Irias decided to start a Central American food brand called Lempira Goods in 2024. Having grown up exposed to a diverse mix of flavors, ingredients, and cooking techniques in Honduras, it has been her lifelong dream to share the story of Central American food traditions with everyone.
Whether creating customized catering experiences or diving deep into the flavors and cultural importance of these foods in a cooking class, Chef Joy hopes to inspire a love for the beautiful and vibrant Central American food scene!
